conui + dash
A terminal UI framework in pure Rust, and a car dashboard drawn with it.
conui is my own terminal UI toolkit, in pure Rust. No curses, no crossterm, no ratatui: it talks to the terminal directly. It’s open source and on crates.io, tested on macOS, Linux and Windows.
dash is the experiment that pushed it hardest: a car dashboard with a moving map, turn-by-turn directions, speed, music and trip data. The map is a picture drawn by the program; every word on it is drawn by the terminal itself, in its own font. Two skins, night and paper.
